On 05 October 2024, the SHER Programme team, led by Mr. Aqim Emurli, met with the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FIS), Dean Mr. Islam Hasani and his team.

Mr. Emurli provided an overview of the SHER Programme, which aims at contributing to a sustainable, evidence-based, needs-oriented and gender-responsive higher education and research sector in Kosovo. He also highlighted key areas for potential collaboration. Dean Hasani stated that FIS is firmly committed to working with SHER, pointing out that the program’s goals coincide with the faculty’s aims.

Both sides committed to collaborating in the near future on specific opportunities that fit with the emerging needs of FIS and are feasible within the scope of SHER.
