On 18 December 2024, the SHER Programme proudly formalized its cooperation with the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership signifies a strong commitment to empowering Kosovo’s public higher education institutions with the tools and strategies needed for sustainable development.

Recognized for its focus on applied sciences and its adoption of international academic standards, IBCM transitioned into the Kosovo public education system last year, reinforcing its mission to deliver accessible and high-quality education. The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation, with the SHER Programme dedicated to supporting IBCM in streamlining its strategic orientation, optimizing institutional structure, enhancing academic programs, and fostering research initiatives. This partnership aligns perfectly with SHER’s overarching goal of driving sustainability, excellence and innovation in Kosovo’s higher education landscape.

The signing ceremony, held at IBCM’s campus, brought together key representatives from IBCM and members of the SHER Programme team. During the event, SHER Programme Team Leader, Mr. Emurli, highlighted the shared vision for creating a robust, forward-thinking educational environment that is in line with the ERA and EHEA standards.
