SHER Programme formally entered into a partnership with the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FIS), marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). As an independent institution FIS is committed to teaching and in future with the help of SHER will focus on research as well.

The signing ceremony of the MoU took place on 24 December 2024, at the FIS campus, and brought together representatives from both institutions. Through this agreement, the SHER Programme will provide targeted support to FIS in areas such, internationalization, staff training, harmonizing regulatory frameworks, institutional and programme accreditation and ensuring alignment with accreditation standards.

This partnership between SHER and the Faculty of Islamic Studies is a significant initial step in supporting the university’s academic, research, and strategic development goals.
