On 4 March 2025, SHER held a consultative meeting with international offices of public higher education institutions (HEIs) in Kosovo. The meeting was facilitated and welcomed by Mr. Ulrich Hoermann from our consortium member OEAD and Mr. Nehat Dervishi, Thematic Coordinator of SHER Programme.

The meeting, which aligns with the SHER programme’s objective of fostering internationalization, served both an introductory and brainstorming platform, where the participants engaged in discussions about internationalization strategies to enhance their international presence and cooperation. This was followed by a discussion on funding opportunities available to support mobility and research projects, with a particular emphasis on programs such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and other relevant funding sources.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on the support needs and challenges faced by the international offices of public HEIs, followed by an exchange of ideas to explore future opportunities for improvement and collaboration. SHER remains committed to supporting these efforts, promoting collaboration, and enhancing the development of higher education and research in Kosovo.
