On 26 May 2025, SHER supported the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) to organise a dedicated stakeholder workshop as part of the process for developing its Strategic Plan 2026–2030. The workshop was opened by Prof. Hasnije Ilazi, President of the State Council of Quality and Mr. Aqim Emurli, Team Leader of the SHER Programme, who emphasized the importance of inclusive dialogue and evidence-based planning.

The workshop was attended by members of the working group, representatives of public and private higher education institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. Participants engaged in structured sessions, including a review of the current Strategic Plan, group work on SWOT analysis, and drafting of initial strategic objectives and measures. The workshop was facilitated by the SHER Programme’s national expert in close cooperation with KAA’s internal teams.

This consultative workshop follows a series of preparatory meetings held by the working group, which discussed and agreed on the methodology and development phases for the new Strategy.

SHER Programme remains committed to supporting KAA in designing a robust, forward-looking Strategic Plan that promotes excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement in quality assurance in Kosovo’s higher education landscape.
