On 26–27 September 2025, SHER Programme supported the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) in organizing a two-day strategic planning workshop. The event brought together members of the IBCM Steering Council, the Rector, and representatives from both the academic and administrative staff who are jointly engaged in the process of developing IBCM’s Strategic Plan 2026–2030.
The workshop was opened by Prof. Dr. Bedri Peci, Chairperson of the Steering Council of IBCM, and Prof. Dr. Mihone Kerolli Mustafa, Rector of IBCM, and Mr. Nehat Dervishi, Thematic Coordinator of SHER, who emphasized the importance of inclusive participation in shaping the future vision of the College.
The two-day workshop was characterized by active engagement, collaborative group work, and thoughtful discussions. These interactions led to the development of concrete proposals for strategic objectives, measures, and indicators—laying a solid foundation for future planning and institutional alignment.
This process marks a significant step forward in harmonizing IBCM’s development with its mission to foster innovation, enhance employability, and uphold international standards in higher education. The outcomes of the workshop reflect a shared commitment to strategic growth and continuous improvement across all levels of the institution.
SHER Programme remains committed to supporting IBCM and other public higher education institutions in Kosovo in advancing strategic planning and institutional development, in line with its mandate to strengthen higher education and research in Kosovo.
