On 11 September 2025, the first working group meeting was held to support the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FIS) in the development of its Strategic Plan 2026–2030. The meeting kicked off the planning process, aimed at shaping the faculty’s priorities and direction for the next five years.

SHER expert facilitated the workshop and presented a proposed methodology for developing the Strategic Plan. The working group reviewed the draft methodology and had an initial discussion on SWOT analysis.

This collaborative effort will continue through follow-up working group meetings and workshops, ensuring broad stakeholder engagement throughout the process. Upcoming steps include conducting a situational analysis and refining the strategic objectives. SHER Programme will support the overall process in line with the signed MoU between SHER and FIS.
