On 23 January 2025, SHER Programme Team had a productive meeting with the Rector of the University of Prishtina (UP), Prof. Dr. Arben Hajrullahu, and his team.

The SHER team presented the concrete developmental actions that SHER Programme foresees to deliver with UP, and engaged in discussing the ongoing activities, such as harmonization of the university regulations with the new statutory provisions. Both parties also reflected on the preparations of the UP to enter into performance-based funding agreement with Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) and SHER’s support in this direction. Rector Hajrullahu expressed appreciations for the SHER’s support and praised the progress made so far in joint activities that relate to advancing the governance matters, institutional capacities and strategic development of the university.

SHER and UP teams agreed to meet on regular bases to streamline the joint action are ensure successful cooperation.
