As part of the strategic plan development process, SHER facilitated a meeting on 15 January 2025 with the responsible working group (WG) of the University ‘Ukshin Hoti’ in Prizren (UUHP). The meeting was led by the Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, and SHER Thematic Coordinator, Mr. Nehat Dervishi.

The meeting aimed to present the progress made so far in developing the UUHP’s strategic plan for 2025-2029, assess the strategic objectives, key performance indicators necessary for monitoring and evaluating and also initiate the next steps for advancing the strategic plan. Moreover, the working group conducted a thorough review of the findings from the SWOT analysis performed during the previous workshop, providing detailed insights into the identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats regarding the future strategic direction of the UUHP.

Looking ahead, the working group is set to enter a more focused phase of development. With guidance from SHER Programmme expertise, the working group from UUHP will work collaboratively on advancing strategic objectives, establish specific goals, and create measurable indicators. These efforts are essential in shaping a strategic plan that aligns with the university’s vision for the years 2025-2029, ensuring that the strategic plan is both actionable and relevant to the UUHP’s growth and development.
