On 16 January 2025, University “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja (UHZ) facilitated the first meeting on the development of the regulation for the performance evaluation of academic staff, an activity supported by the SHER programme.

This meeting, which marks an important step towards improving the evaluation process, was officially opened by Rector, Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi, followed by an introductory presentation on the development of the regulation, prepared and presented by the SHER expert.

During the discussion session, valuable insights were shared and ideas were exchanged to ensure that the development of the performance evaluation regulation would be both comprehensive and effective. Moreover, the meeting was followed was focused on the key aspects of the staff performance evaluation framework, as well as planning the next steps, including determining the methodology for finalizing the regulation.

This initiative represents a significant step toward enhancing the quality of education and professional standards in higher education in Kosova.
